Coming into this season, Corunna, the defending conference champion are one of the favorites to win the last MMC title.  They return a huge part of the '04 team including three year starter Ashton Porter, the team's signal caller.  Head Coach Mike Sullivan expects big things from his Senior laden team and from his offensive line which he says is the biggest he has seen in years.  All of this is a great formula for success.

A tough non-conference schedule stands in the way of the playoffs however.  They could go undefeated in the MMC and still not make the playoffs because of the league only having five members and constituting 4 conference games.  The dangerous schedule includes powerhouse Battle Creek Pennfield who has won 10 or more games the last 4 years, add to that Linden and Goodrich and you have bumpy road to the playoffs.
