by Rivals.com, Robert Bell was named first-team all-state in
Division 3-4 by the Associated Press. Bell also made
first-team all-conference, as well as the Grand Rapids Press
area "Dream Team," in both his junior and senior seasons. Bell
starred at fullback, defensive end and linebacker on East Grand
Rapids teams that won state championships in 2007 and 2008. As a
senior, he had 38 tackles, four sacks, eight pass breakups and three
forced fumbles. As a junior, Bell racked up 74 tackles, 13 sacks,
